Allee Senior Housing

Providing housing for low income seniors

The mission of Allee Senior Housing creates affordable housing for low income seniors.  Our housing solutions will allow seniors to live comfortably and independently in a manufactured mobile home park.

I have spent the last 37 years in the dental field.  My career as a dental assistant and then dental hygienist was very rewarding.  Dentistry is very demanding physically and was starting to take its toll on me.  I have always enjoyed fixing and updating my house.  I have always wanted to “flip” a house.  An opportunity arose to purchase, fix and then sell a mobile home in a park for 55+.  Still working in the dental field, I worked on the mobile when not working as a hygienist.

Life happens and I found myself choosing to downsize from my home to the mobile that I was going to sell.

I have since retired from dental hygiene and am currently buying, fixing and selling mobile homes, with an emphasis on senior parks.  My goal is to provide a very sound home for a senior to move into that will remain sound for some time.

While working and living in the park, I became aware of the challenges that seniors have when it comes to maintaining and being able to afford to live in their home.  These people had purchased their mobile in the park.  Over time, with rent increases they were losing the ability to keep their homes.  Many of the residents in my community are single women, who have very small social security benefits and little or mostly no pensions.  They are outliving their hard earned money.

I have created  Allee Senior Housing, a non-profit foundation providing housing options for low-income seniors.  A way for seniors to be able to remain in their homes for as long as they are able.
